These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Argus Intel ("Argus", "the Service") operated at argusintel.net. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Argus Intel is a competitive intelligence platform that monitors publicly available information about companies you configure (including news, job postings, GitHub activity, SEC filings, and patent data), scores this information using AI, and delivers summaries and weekly briefs via the dashboard, email, and Slack.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization. The Service is intended for business use. By signing up with a work email, you represent that you are authorized to use the Service on behalf of the associated organization.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@argusintel.net if you suspect unauthorized access. One account per organization — you may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or the free trial.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Argus monitors only publicly accessible information. You agree not to instruct or expect the Service to access any private, confidential, or unauthorized data sources.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to core features. No credit card is required to start. After the trial period, paid features are suspended until you upgrade to a paid plan. Trial limits: 3 companies. Trial bonus days may be earned by referring new users (see Section 9).

All prices are in USD. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing date. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days and we will review the request.
The Argus platform, dashboard, AI synthesis logic, and all associated software are owned by Argus Intel. The public data monitored on your behalf (news articles, job postings, GitHub content, SEC filings) remains the property of their respective owners. AI-generated summaries and briefs produced by the Service are licensed to you for internal business use — you may not resell or redistribute them as a standalone product.
You may share a unique referral link. When a new user signs up via your link and activates an account, your referral count increments. Every 3 confirmed referrals earns 30 additional bonus days on your trial or extends your access. Referral credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) signals or AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or current; (c) any particular competitive intelligence finding will prove correct. Signals are informational only — they are not financial, legal, investment, or business advice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARGUS INTEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Argus Intel and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the dashboard at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. You may terminate your account at any time by emailing hello@argusintel.net.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Argus Intel is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is unavailable, in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
